Annual Rent Registration
Users That Have a User ID and Password:
- Proceed to login to the Annual Rent Registration system to begin
Passwords not used within the past 90 days have expired.
What is the Annual Rent Registration System?
The online Annual Rent Registration system can be used to register properties from 2008 forward. Use of this system enables owners to PRINT CERTIFIED RENT ROLLS and OWNER RECEIPTS.
Owners may input data into the online system; however, the ability to SUBMIT the current year registration is not available until April 1.
Previous years' registration data can be submitted at any time. Registrations prior to 2008 must be completed manually.
As a registered user of the Annual Rent Registration system, you will be able to add and manage additional users that can access your registration data. A User Maintenance function within the Annual Rent Registration system allows you to make these additions.

Forgot Your Password:
If you have forgotten your password, you can go to the Annual Rent Registration system and after entering your User ID select "Forgot Your Password?". You will need to re-enter your User ID and the email address that you entered when registering as a system user. A new password will be emailed to you. If you have changed your email address since you first registered as a system user you will need to contact the Processing Services Unit for assistance via email at PSU@nyshcr.org. Please include your User ID and email address in the email.
Forgot Your User Id:
If you have forgotten your User Id, you can go to the Annual Rent Registration system and select "Forgot Your User ID?". You will need to enter the exact name and email address that you used to register as a system user. If you cannot remember this information or you have changed your email address since you registered as a system user you will need to contact the Processing Services Unit for assistance via email at PSU@nyshcr.org. Please include your name and email address in the email.
Important Information:
DHCR is transitioning to a system that only accepts electronically filed rent registrations.
During this transition, DHCR will provide computer access in the Queens borough rent office to those owners who need this level of support.
- Owners MUST obtain a User ID and Password from PSU prior to making an appointment with the Owner's Assistance Unit. Email this request to PSU@nyshcr.org and include your full name, mailing address, and telephone number. PSU will email your access information along with instructions to obtain your User ID and Password.
- Set up an appointment with the Owner's Assistance Unit by calling 718-739-6400 or email the request to RentInfo@nyshcr.org
